Chrysalis Capital was founded in July 2008 as a niche investment house. We specialise in private sector credit, offering senior and mezzanine debt solutions as an alternative to traditional bank funding.

Leveraging our banking expertise and networks, we source off market and exclusive credit opportunities that generate consistent, attractive risk-adjusted returns. Our aim is to deliver ongoing stable, positive returns exceeding cash, specifically targeting returns above CPI plus 6%, while keeping our correlation to the market minimal.

A team of ex-bankers, we:

Legally structure and package credit opportunities for optimal outcomes;

Utilise market insight for effective negotiation and pricing;

Meticulously implement investments;

Manage investments to a successful exit.

THE CHRYSALIS FUNDS

The Chrysalis Credit Arbitrage Fund

Launched in August 2008, the Credit Arbitrage Fund has generated positive monthly returns since inception. It offers liquidity on 6 months’ notice.

Managed Portfolios

We manage a number of bespoke credit portfolios for major institutional investors. Our funds have consistently delivered positive monthly returns over a sustained period, with the longest running since 2011. With investments spanning two to five years, these funds cater to investors with extended time horizons, promising superior risk-adjusted returns that reward patience.

Note: None of our funds use leverage.

We provide finance options with terms up to five years, in the following areas:

Senior and mezzanine finance for select property projects or acquisitions;

Property development finance in all sectors, including residential, affordable housing, social housing, commercial and retirement;

Growth and acquisition finance for corporates in various sectors;

Working capital finance for growing businesses.
